Always give your best to all kids all the time regardless of their athletic capability, social economic status and parental influences.
Search the heart of each kid until you find their strengths while continuing to build on their weaknesses.
Talk about family values, being persons with good character, integrity and responsibility (and you lead by example).
Find ways to create a culture that embraces higher academic standards.
And never quit on a kid.
