While playing point guard at UNT, I remember asking God right before tip off to give me the strength to play to the best of my ability and to help us compete, play as a team and win.
Bonus:
Prior to every home game,when my parents could make it (because they often had to work late), prior to tip off, once I saw them take their seat, I would shed a tear of joy and the game was on!

Just seeing my parents sit in a stadium to watch me play, gave me the biggest self-drive, motivation and the will to compete of my life.
