My Top 10 Wish List for My Peer Group In Sports

After leading a youth sports organization for nearly 23 years, I've witnessed and seen a lot, both good & bad. And because of it, I've since developed a wish list for those who work with youth in the sports industry.
1. Be men & women of character!
2. Be honest!
3. Be a mentor & role model.
4. Learn to appreciate & respect your peer group; stop hating others who do what you do.
5. Take care of your family before you take care of others.
6. Develop more friends and build healthy relationships.
7. Don't exploit families and their children for personal gain.
8. Learn to work together for the good of All; together we win.
9. Be who you say you are; not who others think you are.
10. Learn to work together in harmony with other coaches who share the same goals, values and interest for the good of all youth and the game.
*Develop a heart to see others in your peer group do well and not simply yourself. Be a good sport and together lets change the world!
