Dear God,

All I want is to grow closer to you so that I might be in concert with you.

I realize that I'm nothing without you. Let my words, actions and thoughts today be pleasing to you.

And if I fail or fall short, please forgive me.

-In Jesus Name Amen

The Teacher & The Student:

Many years ago, I taught and trained Stephanie Schilleci Pedigo & Courtney Eggleston Johnson in basketball. They both played basketball at Aubrey H.S.

And while high school for them seems long ago, both are now adults with children and both have taken a serious interest in teaching and coaching kids basketball in Aubrey, Texas.

Yesterday, they brought players from their teams to the camp that I was teaching, and luckily, I was able to make them a part of the teaching because they are now fully trained.

"The student isn't above the teacher but everyone who is fully trained will be like his/her teacher."

Helpful Hint: How To Be Prosperous?

Do not let this book of the law depart from your mouth, meditate on it both day and night; so that you may be careful to do everything in it. Then you will be prosperous and successful.

Joshua 1:8-9

I'm Not The Greatest

I'm not the greatest but the greatest lives in me, He also has authority over me.

-Christ Alone

Wednesday Morning Devotion

Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His righteousness and all these things shall be added unto thee.

Matthew 6:33

Footnote:

Righteousness- That holiness of heart and purity of life which God requires of those who profess to be subjects of that spiritual kingdom.

Community Strength

Not until people (adults & leaders) choose to bury their ego's, titles and statues in the community; and make a commitment to work together in a wholesome and united front, can they make the greatest impact on youth, family and community growth.

-People with degree's, titles, status and money often use them in a selfish manner and often create divisiveness among others and those less fortunate.

Community Strength

Did you know that in many cases the least of those in communities do the majority of the work; while others parade themselves around town ignoring the personal responsibility that they too must share in developing or sustaining community strength and growth.

-What are you doing to strengthen your community?

Being A Bright Spot

God put people in our paths so that they can brighten our day.

-When was the last time you did something nice for someone that didn't ask you too?

My Life Mission Statement

To love and honor God and my family to the best of my ability and with all of my heart. To live a life of meekness, humbleness, selflessness and compassion for others. And to be a witness for Christ to kids, coaches, families and communities.

Christian's & Non Christian's

We have a responsibility to bare fruit wherever God plants us. A tree is known by it's fruit. Good tree's bare good fruit. Bad tree's bare rotten fruit.

John 15:1-8

My Quest In Life

My quest in life is to do the will of God and to share the Gospel of Christ with others in a manner that pleases God and wins souls to Christ.

The Mission Field

For years, I wanted to go on a mission trip to spread the Gospel of Christ to those who were lost, help those who were suffering and give hope to the hopeless.

And then it became apparent to me that for 14.5 years, I've been in the mission field (laboring) sharing the Gospel of Christ through our youth sports organization throughout the North Texas area and abroad.

And while on my mission trip, I can truthfully say that I've seen young adults become disciples of Christ, thousands of lives changed, families strengthened and youth accepting Christ. And for this, I'm grateful.

-The USA is a mission field within itself and it's in need of more laborers.

Eternal vs Temporal Investing

When we invest all that we have in temporal things (earthly), we stand the greatest chance of losing everything. But when we invest in the eternal (heavenly), we are assured a everlasting, rich and eternal return.

So for those of you who are out there and you don't have large sums of money, 401k's, large savings or even health insurance but you are investing daily in living a Christ centered life as well as you are doing what you feel God has called you to do (which is win souls for Christ); rest assure that your earthly wealth may not show up in the stock market but in heaven, you and your father and other members of the body of Christ will be rich.

-Heaven Awaits Those Who Believe

Too Often

Too often, when people have to attend a funeral of someone who they never thought would die and it hits home to them, they then began to wonder; Is my salvation intact?

So for the record, death may seem like a bad thing but then again, if God chooses, he can use it to get the attention of thousands with hopes that they sure up their salvation.

What I Want For My Friends

I want each of them to live a Christ-centered life, be happy and satisfied with who God made them to be and learn to enjoy the simple things in life. Life is too short to be stress when God tells us we're blessed.

-That's What I Want

Keep Sports & Life In Perspective

If Sports is the life of you, who's the life of sports? Never let your life become controlled and defined by sports nor the outcome of any game. And remember, all things at some point or another come to an end.

-Seriously

Want A Close Family

Spend time together, laugh together, play board games together, stick together, attend church together, eat together, have family conversations together, do family devotion's together, pray together, watch movies together and have family outings together.

2014 Hoop Hunter Hustler’s club team program is seeking competitive players who will be going into the 11th and entering the 12th grade next year to try out for our upcoming club teams.
The goals for these teams are to further improve the play of each individual player from a team setting and show case the talent of each player when playing in tournaments and sanctioned NCAA tournaments.
Our varsity level program is committed to competing in competitive tournaments throughout the Dallas-Ft.Worth Metroplex and regional (if necessary). Players who play on these teams will be encouraged to work hard by attending weekly practices and tournament games.
We have a commitment to the players and families to help assist you with your off-season goals.  If you have an interest in playing college basketball, we will work together with you on helping to get you noticed and recruited. However for this to happen, you must be good enough to play college basketball. We also realize and respect that not all high school players are interested in playing college basketball and if that is your goal, you are also welcome to be a part of these teams.
If you want to be in a healthy, Christian, competitive environment working together with our coaches, who are well-suited to help you get where you want to go, we ask that you sign-up and attend our tryouts. And remember, we want players who want us.

“Come grow with us & bring your friends. Our Goal is to put the best product on the court and let them compete.”
